Celtic Trails is not only one of the longest established walking holiday providers in the UK but also one of the most knowledgeable. Our story began back in the mid-1990s, when Angus Cunningham, a native of Scotland living in North Wales began to share his hiking expertise and love of the Snowdonia mountains with visitors. From there, a quite unique idea was born – to provide a walking holiday that balanced the perfect tranquillity of being self-guided with the ease of having everything organised for you. Over the next few years, Angus used his extensive knowledge of walking in Wales, in Scotland to create a portfolio of walks that covered Britain’s and Europe‘s most breathtaking scenery whilst also meeting the individual needs of each walker. Twenty five years later, our walks and walkers have grown, but Celtic Trails remains the same, experts in walking dedicated to providing the very best walking holidays.
