Day 1Arrival Day

Day 28 miles (12.9 km)

Walking direct from your accommodation, you will follow the undulating clifftop path which towers over the crystal clear sea below. It’s a haven for wildlife and wild flowers. We promise jaw-dropping views on this spectacular walk including the famous ‘Witches Cauldron’, a collapsed cave still connected to the sea, which is said to bubble like a cauldron when the tide is right. You will pass the Iron Age Fort Castell Treryffyyd and watch seals and dolphins from Foel Goch. The walk ends today at the National Trust Headland of Ceibwr Bay, where you will be transferred back to Newport.

Day 37.1 miles (11.4 km)

Today, you will be transferred to Ceibwr Bay and ascend the path to continue your walk. That effort will be rewarded with views of spectacular cliff rock. Have your camera at the ready! Over millions of years, once horizontal layers of rock, have been twisted and turned into extraordinary patterns. You can expect more ‘up and down’ today walking over the highest sea cliffs in the national park between Cemaes Head and Pen y Afr. The descent to St. Dogmael’s marks the official end of this wonderful national trail and we will transfer you back to Newport.
