After breakfast, begin today’s walk with a descent through the stunning Val dei Canope to Cimabanche. A short stretch along the road leads to a climb through Val de Gotres, taking you to Forcella Lerosa—a picturesque meadow plateau framed by majestic mountain peaks. From here, descend steeply through a forest before embarking on the final ascent through the charming Val Salata, ultimately arriving at Sennes.

Today's diverse route begins along the Dolomite Höhenweg/Alta Via Dolomiti, maintaining a steady elevation. From there, you'll descend to the scenic Lago de Foses and then to the charming Valon Scuro. Crossing the valley, you climb towards Lago Le Casun and continue to Fodara Vedla, a picturesque village ideal for a well-earned break. After a long, steep descent to the Pederü hut, the final ascent takes you to the Fanes Plateau. In case of bad weather, the route can be shortened by following the dirt road to Rifugio Fodara Vedla and then on to Rifugio Pederü, bypassing the lakes.

This full-day route begins with a steep ascent through a wooded hillside, leading to the rugged, rocky expanse of the Fanes Plateau. At Ju d’la Crusc, you'll arrive at the edge of the plateau, where breathtaking views of the valley below await. For those seeking an additional challenge, the hike can be extended with a climb to the L’Ciaval peak.Alternatively you can walk a different circular walk via Bivacco alla Pace. This walks starts with a short steep section that leads you to Limo Lake, before a comfortable walk along an unpaved road through pleasant alpine scenery. The walk then climbs above the tree line on a rocky gravel trail to the foot of the dramatic Monte Castello outcrop where the small bivacco is located. The track was originally a military supply road during WWI. The views from here to surrounding valleys are breathtaking. Close to Monte Castello there may be sections of snow so walking poles are very useful.

Descend from the Fanes Plateau into the charming Val di Marebbe. The route begins with a steep climb to Anthoius Joch, followed by a challenging descent over a debris slope. The journey concludes with a descent through forests and meadows, leading to San Vigilio di Marebbe.
