Day 28.5 miles (13.7 km)

After breakfast our driver transfers you to Birdlip. You will spend the day walking back ‘home’ to Painswick along forest tracks rich with deer and wildlife. Starting the day with a descent, it’s a good way to get those legs warmed up. Later on you will need them for Cooper’s Hill, world famous for its annual cheese rolling race which has taken place since the 1700s.
