Day 1Arrival Day
  1. AccommodationNewport - PCP
Day 210.5 miles (16.9 km)

We’ll transfer you to pretty Fishguard this morning where pastel coloured houses line the bay. There’s great walking today in this area of outstanding natural beauty. At Castle Point you’ll pass through the remains of an 18th century fort and travel on to Dinas Head. The coastline weaves in and out, up and down, whilst your destination remains always in view. There will be the opportunity to head down to small coves and beaches only accessible on foot as you make your way to back to Newport.

  3. AccommodationNewport - PCP
Day 315.1 miles (24.3 km)

Pack plenty of provisions as today provides challenge and solitude to suit experienced walkers. You will cover the steepest section of the coast path today, which can often mean that you get this wild section entirely to yourself. The trail is known as ‘Gwlad Hud a Lledrith’ in Welsh, which means ‘The Land of Mystery and Enchantment’. It’s this remoteness that makes it the perfect home for a breeding seal population and rare birds. At the end of this rewarding full day of walking we will transfer you back to Newport for a well-earned rest.
