Ben

Ben is a Director of Celtic Trails and has led the business for over a decade, following in the footsteps of his father, Angus. He runs the company alongside his wife Carys. Ben is responsible for guiding the company’s long-term development and ensuring Celtic Trails continues to offer a highly personal, well-supported experience for every walker. Much of Ben’s work focuses on improving the business behind the scenes, freeing up the team to spend more time doing what they do best: supporting clients and building strong relationships. He lives in the heart of the Wye Valley, close to Offa’s Dyke Path and the Wye Valley Walk.

Winter may be approaching all too quickly, but fear not, for the walking season is not over. Celtic Trails are delighted to announce the launch of a series of European walks this autumn aimed at blowing away those winter blues. Each walk has been specially chosen to bring a bit of warmth and sunshine between October and April when British weather can become a little damp and unpredictable (although they can be enjoyed in summer months too). With winter walking holidays in europe, as well as the enjoyable climate, you will find everything you would normally expect to have on a Celtic Trails holiday – the very finest walking routes, the best accommodation of it’s kind available and all your individual requirements catered for.

So, where will a European walking holiday take you? For those who enjoy coastal walking, we have some of Europe’s most spectacular coastlines on offer with routes in Portugal and Mallorca. Here you will find pristine beaches, hidden coves, perfectly turquoise sea and views to take your breath away. Alternatively, if history and tradition are what you’re after, then a walk in Spain’s Aragon region may be of interest. Finally, if you’re looking for something completely different, then take a trip to the Canary Islands for some of the most diverse walking available. A walking holiday here can begin on a volcano, journey through a rainforest and end finish on a beach overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

We’re confident that in Europe you will find Winter Walking Holidays in Europe every bit as enjoyable as those you’ve shared with us in the UK and we can’t wait to hear about your adventures.
